Lang, zeer lang hebben ze gewacht! Uit noodzaak hebben ze zich her en der verscholen, uit noodzaak, niet omdat ze verlegen, lelijk of abnormaal zijn, nee integendeel zelfs. Vorig jaar konden ze niet komen omdat er geen aangepaste mondmaskers voorhanden waren. Maar deze editie kunnen ze met beide poten op de grond staan en hun vleugels de vrije loop laten gaan. Ja beste bezoekers kijk uit want na een jaartje lockdownen hebben de hormonen zich opgestapeld die ze nu rijkelijk zullen uitspreiden. Dus kijk uit voor The Invasion Of The Horny Pink Flamingoos!

The BUTFF celebrates its adolescence with Sweet Sick Teens

Sex, drugs, violence, gangs, power, moral dilemmas, peer pressure, gender, school... Teenagers have to cope with the often uneasy transition from child to adult, physically, mentally and emotionally. There is the rebelliousness, finding your own identity, the struggle with parents, who often fail to see their teenage children as they are. There is the experimentation, discovering all borders, those that can be crossed, those that should be crossed, and those that should NEVER be crossed.

Since a few years, the BUTFF works together with Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUAS) in Breda. Throughout the year they produce video's within their courses and every now and then we create an assignment for them. This time the assignment was to promote our festival in a true BUT-fashion.
